Description of Sulfuric acid:
Sulfuric acid (chemical formula: H ₂ SO ₄), the most important oxygen-containing acid of sulfur. Anhydrous sulfuric acid is a colorless oily liquid that crystallizes at 10.36 ℃. It is usually obtained using various aqueous solutions of different concentrations using tower and contact methods.
Sulfuric acid is the most active binary inorganic strong acid that can react with many metals. High concentration sulfuric acid has strong water absorption and can be used as a dehydrating agent to carbonize carbohydrate containing substances such as wood, paper, cotton and linen fabrics, and biological skin and meat.

Application of Sulfuric acid:
1.sulfuric acid is used in produce fertilizers, particularly superphosphates, ammonium phosphate and ammonium sulfates.
2.sulfuric acid is used in chemical industry for production of detergents, synthetic resins, dyestuffs, pharmaceuticals, petroleum catalysts, insecticides and antifreeze, as well as in various processes such as oil well acidizing, aluminum reduction, paper sizing, water treatment.
3.sulfuric acid is used in pigments and include paints, enamels, printing inks, coated fabrics and paper.
4.sulfuric acid is also used in production of explosives, cellophane, acetate and viscose textiles, lubricants, non-ferrous metals, and batteries.
