Due to its excellent thickening, suspension, dispersion, emulsification, adhesion, film formation, moisture protection, and provision of protective colloids, HEC has been widely used in fields such as petroleum exploration, coatings, construction, pharmaceuticals and food, textiles, papermaking, and polymer polymerization reactions.
